Anastasia State Park Plant and Wildlife Photo Safari

Participants will have the privilege of getting a private tour of Conch Island and learn all about the different types of plants and wildlife that can be found. Plants that may be seen include sea oat, live oak, red bay, cabbage palm, salt grass, salt marsh cordgrass, sea oxeye daisy, etc. Wildlife that may be seen includes fish, dolphins, manatees, and birds (such as, wood storks, Wilson plover, marsh wrens, warblers, etc.). Vehicle transportation will be provided on site, while in the park. There will be many great photo opportunities throughout this tour. Participants should come prepared with sunscreen, bug spray, water, camera and other camera equipment, and comfortable walking shoes that they would not mind getting wet. A boxed lunch will be provided by Island Beach Grill. Participants will be given a choice of various wraps with chips and a cookie.  Participants should plan to bring their own drinks.
