Long lenses are critical tools to get close to wildlife subjects, but they are costly, weighty and require careful attention to technique. In this workshop, George will help you choose the lens that fits your budget and your photographic aspirations. Test a series of telephoto lenses from 300mm to 800mm and the latest Canon DSLRs. George will demonstrate techniques to get the sharpest possible images with a variety of camera/lens combinations, including the use of tele-extenders and extension tubes, and will help students achieve mastery of long-lens approaches in the field.
