Instructor: Nikhil Bahl
Difficulty Level: Beginner to Advanced
Meeting Location: Marineland Beach Parking Lot (29.6660°N, 81.2118°W), 9600 Oceanshore Blvd.
The beach offers limitless photographic opportunities. We will create abstract art with flowing water and photograph ocean views, patterns and textures in the sand along with unique coquina rock formations. You will learn how you can use the available light and the shutter speed to control how the water is rendered. A tripod will be necessary to create images as the sun comes up and to use long exposures to alter the rendition of the water in your photos. A circular polarizer is highly recommended. A neutral density filter is not necessary but can be helpful if you want to extend the exposure time.
